At Inland Sky TV Spain, we often receive calls about the loss of Sky TV signals or poor picture reception. Unfortunately the force of bad weather and wind can often move your dish only by a fraction and this can cause a loss of signal or poor picture reception.

We use the latest equipment to test your signal when we install or re-align your satellite dish. We also ensure your dish is positioned in the correct place, many times satellite dishes are installed without a clear line of sight to the satellite, which can cause poor picture reception.

Depending on how old your cable is, this too can be the cause of poor picture quality. The cable itself caries a very small electrical current and should the outer white protective cover become damaged and water enters into the cable, this is sure enough to considerably degrade the cables performance.

Inland Sky TV Spain have a variety of Sky satellite dishes available for installation. Satellite dishes come in various sizes, the most common dish size for viewing digital Sky TV from the UK is 1.2 meters in diameter, however, this all depends on your location.

Inland Sky TV Spain can help you choose the right satellite dish for you and ensure all your channels are working correctly. We use the latest equipment available to us to test your signal strength when we install your satellite dish.

To view Sky's digital TV multiroom service here on the Costa del Sol, Spain, there are two options available to you:

• Hard Cabling
• Audio / Video Transmitter

• Hard Cabling
This option requires the need to run a cable from wherever your Sky box is to the room or rooms of your choice. This can lead to unsightly cables around your house, however, we will always assess your house before we drill any holes as some modern house's / apartments have cable ducts pre-installed in your walls, enabling us to feed your cables through theses ducts.

• Audio and Video Transmitter
This method requires a transmitter which simply connects using a SCART cable. You can also use this transmitter to transmit other signals such as DVD players, Radio, Games Consoles as long as the item submitting the signal has a SCART output you will be able to transmit this signal throughout your house.
Please remember, this signal may interfere with other wireless frequencies such as, mobile phones and wireless internet routers.

TDT (Televisión Digital Terrestre / Digital Terrestrial Television) is a Spanish digital terrestrial system where you can receive free Spanish TV channels.

All the TDT channels are broadcasted in Spanish; however, you can change the audio of the programmes to your desired language, subject to the programmes being broadcasted in the language of your choice. I.e. if there is a film or a series originally broadcasted in English, then you will be able to watch this programme in English.

There are about 30 channels being broadcasted at the moment here on the Costa del Sol, Spain. Please remember you will not able to receive any UK channels such as BB1, ITV, Channel 4 using the TDT service here in Spain, this is a Spanish digital television service and it's a great way to pick up some of the language too!
